Citrus Golf Trail Announces 2020 Partners

Sebring's Citrus Golf Trail, located just 60 miles south of Disney World, is a collection of great golf courses that offers incredible value, great history, fantastic layouts, and the friendliest service anywhere. Sebring International Golf Resort (previously Spring Lake Resort), bordered by Lake Istokpoga, Florida's 2nd largest freshwater lake and surrounded by scrub oaks, offers guests the opportunity to play two 18 hole golf courses while staying in villas with all the comforts of home. Sebring Municipal Golf Course, a prime example of an old Florida track, designed by Bert Way of Cleveland in 1928, who designed the South Course at Firestone CC. In 2009 Ron Garl gave the golf course a rework to improve the condition and bring it up to date for today's golfers. The 6,204 yard par 72 muni is a great walk and ideal for both young and old. Sun 'N Lake Golf Club is a combination of two championship golf courses; Deer Run, the tougher of the two, opened in1976 and plays to 7002 yards from the tips with a rating of 73.9/134. The original Don Dyer design was enhanced by Ron Garl in 2003 with a great closing par 3 next to the clubhouse. Turtle Run which opened in 1999 and plays 6400 yards from the back tees, was designed by Charles Ankrom in the middle of a Scrub Jay preservation area and a beautiful setting to enjoy a tactical game of golf.
