Linksoul Fall 2016 Apparel

Golf Apparel and a Whole Lot More

By David Theoret

John Ashworth's new company, Linksoul, continues to churn out great looking and feeling great apparel, but would you expect anything less from a man with his talent and penchant for good looking golf attire? We were privileged to have several men's and women's pieces sent to us and while the women's line is still in the growing stage, the men's side has a lot to offer.

The Button-Down Interlock Knit Shirt features a 3-button placket with a button down collar. The 100% cotton interlock fabric has Linksoul's special Innosoft finish, making it extra soft to the touch. The drape hangs perfectly for most golfers and the contrasting chainstitch at the shoulder offers a nice touch. The Button-Down Interlock Knit Shirt is available in sizes S - XXL and in 9 colors. Retail price is $68.

The Multi Color Micro Stripe Yarn Dyed Stripe Polo is a mouthful to say, so we'll just call it "the golf shirt!" It's made from 100% Innosoft cotton yarn that has been dyed multi colors. This golf shirt features a solid color self-collar and 3-button placket. The open sleeve design lets air circulate through the shirt, keeping you cool in otherwise hot conditions. There's also a small embroidered logo on the left chest. The Multi Color Micro Stripe Yarn Dyed Stripe Polo is available in sizes S - XXL and in either Royal or White. Retail price is a paltry $77.00.

The Men's Long Sleeve Full Button Woven Sports Shirt may not be ideal for golf - especially in southern climates - but it sure is one good looking shirt. The 96% cotton/4% spandex fabric moves with you as you move and also provides an immeasurable amount of comfort. The button-down collar adds a distinguished look as does the left chest pocket. The Men's Long Sleeve Full Button Woven Sports Shirt is available in sizes S - XXL and in 6 colors: Army, Haze, Navy, White Charcoal and Putty. Retail price is $105.00.

As for the ladies, the Women's Sleeveless Shirt is made from !00% Innosoft cotton jersey and features a little bit of a racer back. The self-collar and 4-button placket on the front, let you determine your tan line, while the 4-button placket on the back gives this sleeveless garment an ultra-feminine look. The embroidered Linksoul logo on the right hip lets everyone know whose brand you prefer. The Women's Sleeveless Shirt is available in sizes XS - XL and in four colors: Black, White, Mint and Teal. Retail price is $68.00.

If you're looking to just lounge around on the weekend, then the Mochi Tank Top is the perfect top for you. The low cut armholes give this muscle tank added comfort and the feminine cut will keep your better half from wanting to try it on! The LINKSOUL graphic on the front lets everyone know your favorite brand. The Mochi Tank Top is available in sizes S - XL and only in Black. Retail price is $35.00.

If you were an Ashworth fan like I was before it became part of the Adidas empire, then you owe it to yourself to check out what Linksoul has to offer. It's more than just apparel; it's a way of life. To see more of their men's and women's apparel, visit their website at www.linksoul.com.

About: David Theoret

David Theoret David Theoret has been in the golf and golf travel industry for over 10 years, primarily selling online advertising. For the past seven years, he has also been a golf writer, reviewing golf courses, resorts, destinations, equipment, golf apparel, and training aids - the latter of which never seems to help. David's articles and reviews have been posted on many golf travel and equipment websites.

Growing up in Southwestern Ontario, Canada, it was naturally assumed he would play hockey. Beginning at the age of 3 and continuing into his late 30's, he did just that. However, after one too many pucks to the head, he realized that golf was a lot easier on the body (whoever said hockey players were slow) and took the game up.

After moving to Florida and accepting a position with TravelGolf Media (now part of GolfNow) his love for the game grew exponentially. Most Saturdays you will find him on a course somewhere in Florida or on the practice range reinforcing his bad habits. David plays to a 10 handicap - unless there is money involved in which case it goes considerably higher. He currently resides in Lakeland, FL with his wife Belinda and their two "kids", Madyson and Molly.
